How to grow your business
YOU ARE NOT HERE FOR THE JOB THE JOB IS HERE FOR YOUR PROGRESS
“YOUR ECONOMIC SECURITY DOES NOT LIE IN YOUR JOB; IT LIES IN YOUR OWN POWER TO PRODUCE - TO THINK, TO LEARN, TO CREATE, TO ADAPT. THAT'S TRUE FINANCIAL INDEPENDENCE. IT'S NOT HAVING WEALTH; IT'S HAVING THE POWER TO PRODUCE WEALTH”
Stephen Covey
Educator, Author, Businessman, And Keynote Speaker
You are dedicate to you job and you do it with passion and to the best of your abilities, but it is just not paying you what you believe you are worth. You look at other people around you and all you can see is progress in their lives, but you cannot honestly say the same about yourself.
Remember that youngster who used to look-up to you as a role model a couple of years ago? Now, the roles seems to be in reverse, but your pride and self-respect won’t let you admit it.
But, you keep doing your best, you keep working hard, working overtime, working on weekends and sometimes you are on standby on holidays, but you know deep down that, you are just barely surviving.
Sometimes you even question your career choice and you silently wonder whether you made the right choice. Nothing seems to be going your way. The economy is bad, politicians and those who are running the economy are also not helping either.
This are hard times indeed and soon or latter, something’s gotta to give. If progress is what you want, something has to change, and it’s either you change, to get what you want, or your job change to give you what you want.
It’s not your fault though; the truth is that the world is changing. Certain careers, professions, and skills sets are not as valuable as they used to be. The sooner we get used to that idea, the better we can prepare ourselves to adjust and progress.
